Forged Check Valves
Forged Check Valves

Kent Forged Steel Check Valves are compact, sturdy and ideal for high pressure and high temperature applications. These valves are lift type, spring loaded check valves and are available in two types of configurations, i.e., plug type and ball type. These valves must have a bolted or welded bonnet and a full or standard bore. These valves are non-return valves, which allow flow in one direction only. Both are manufactured in accordance with API 602 and ASME B16.34 standards.”

- Rugged construction.
- Globe Valve design complies to API 602, ASME B 16.34.
- Suited to handle high pressure and temperatures – up to 425 deg C in carbon steel and 540 deg C in alloy steel.
- The body is forged steel and available in both the full or standard port design.
- The cover is forged steel, attached on top of body.
- The plug or ball is forged steel and is part of the valve trim. The seating surfaces are ground and lapped.
- Compression spring pushes the plug or the ball to the seat for tight sealing.
- BODY-BONNET JOINT – Two different bonnet joint designs are available. These are either the bolted bonnet and seal welded type.
- The seat rings are pressed into the valve body and wedged into place, forming a seal with the body. The seating surfaces are ground and lapped.
